𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃'𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳

Mayor Roderick Awingan, alongside MDRRMO Yoshio Labi, met with Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas this afternoon to address the municipality’s growing solid waste management concerns. In a favorable response, Governor Diclas committed to looking into provincial resources to assist in hauling the town’s waste to Urdaneta City. Additionally, the Governor pledged to consider granting funds for the purchase of a new garbage truck to boost the municipality's collection capacity.

​Mayor Awingan lauded the Governor's supportive gesture, expressing optimism that the provincial assistance will significantly aid the local government unit. The collaboration marks a critical step forward in improving waste disposal efficiency and ensuring the environmental well-being of the community.
