𝗟𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝟭𝟬 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦

The municipality of La Trinidad garnered a total of ten distinctions during the 2025 Benguet Governance Awards held earlier today, December 19, 2025, at the Benguet Sports Complex.

The awards are as follows:

I. Barangay Level

• Best Performing Council for the Protection of Children- Barangay Betag under the leadership of Monaliza D. Comila

• Best Performing Anti-Drug Abuse Council- Barangay Alapang under the leadership of Paul M. Bacuso

• Best Performing Peace and Order Council- Barangay Beckel under the leadership of Jessie T. Doclisen.

• Best Performing Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award 2025 (1st Class Municipality Category)- Barangay Alno under the leadership of Jonie S. Puroc

• Most Outstanding Barangay (SGLGB Provincial Assessment)- Barangay Alapang

II. Municipal Level

• Highly Functional Municipal Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence against Women and their Children (106 points- 1st Place)

• Best Performing Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (91%- 1st Runner-Up)

• Best Performing Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (90.23%- 2nd Runner-Up)

• Municipal Child-Friendly Local Governance Award (74.5%- 3rd Place)

• Highly Functional Municipal Project Monitoring Committee

On behalf of the municipal government of La Trinidad, Mayor Roderick Awingan extends his sincerest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the sixteen barangays, community, volunteers, department heads, staff, and everyone who contributed to achieving these awards.

May these stand as a testament to our hard work and perseverance as we continue to strive for the better, so we may achieve a limitless La Trinidad!
