The festival showcased films highlighting the culture, identity, and lived experiences of Benguet and the Cordillera, giving emerging and amateur filmmakers a meaningful platform to share local stories on screen.
Mayor Roderick C. Awingan reaffirmed the local governmentβs support for the growth of the local film industry and commended Festival Director Shemen Padua, the organizers, jurors, filmmakers, students, guests, and supporters for helping preserve and promote Cordilleran culture through cinema.
The closing program also featured awards and recognition rites, with the participation of guests Eric Kelly, Rhenuel OrdoΓ±o and Analene Bangsi-il of Ang Daan Patungong Kalimugtong, and jurors Julius Lumiqued, Richard Cawed, Dean Michael Cuanso, and CV Altatis.
