𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗟𝗧

Representatives from the municipal government of Magallanes, Cavite namely Tourism Officer Monaliza Nepomuceno, Market Supervisor Nelissa Benitez, and Coop Development Officer Loreliza Frias visited on July 1 the various offices of the La Trinidad LGU led by Mayor Roderick Awingan for their benchmarking of the processes and best practices of the town.

The guests exchanged thoughts with Office of the Municipal Agriculturist Nida Organo who was with Municipal Agriculture Fishery Council President Andy Colte, Coop Development Specialist Orlando Pacya, Tourism Officer Valred Olsim, Market Supervisor for the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post Janice Alleg, the Business Permits and Licensing Office represented by Shannon Lee Baroy, and executive assistant Delmar Cariño.

The Magallanes MLGU personnel will also visit the Benguet Agri-pinoy Trading Center as part of their learning and linkaging with the central town of Benguet.

Benitez said the town of Magallanes, a third class municipality, is also a primarily agricultural town that’s why it looks to La Trinidad’s successes in its processes and operational system, as part of the larger agriculture industry, that circles back to the development of the community.
