The Bachelor of Public Administration interns of Benguet State University College of Public Administration and Governance formally presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the La Trinidad Local Government Unit in recognition of its invaluable partnership in the successful implementation of their internship program.
Representing Mayor Roderick C. Awingan during the courtesy visit, Municipal Administrator Atty. Franco G. Bawang Jr. received the recognition on behalf of the Municipal Government and reaffirmed the LGUβs continued commitment to fostering meaningful learning experiences, practical public service exposure, and professional development opportunities for future leaders.
Joining the delegation was Dr. Gretchen Gaye C. Ablaza, internship adviser, together with the Bachelor of Public Administration interns. Also present during the recognition were personnel from the Human Resource Management Office and the Internal Audit Services Office, reflecting the Municipalityβs collective support in providing students with valuable exposure to governance systems, workplace standards, and public sector service.
The recognition highlights the Municipalityβs role in creating a conducive learning environment where student interns gain firsthand experience in public administration, governance, and community service. Through this partnership, La Trinidad continues to help strengthen both academic development and real-world readiness among aspiring public servants.
By supporting programs that bridge education and actual government practice, the Municipality of La Trinidad remains committed to investing in the next generation of leaders through mentorship, service, and institutional collaboration.
