Mayor Roderick Awingan and Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) Arthur Pedro met this morning with DENR-CAR officials, led by Regional Executive Director Engr. Paquito Moreno and Assistant RD Engr. Benjamin Ventura. The meeting focused on aligning local and regional efforts to protect and manage La Trinidadโ€™s communal forests.

โ€‹The discussion ended with a strong mutual commitment to jointly oversee and safeguard the municipality's forest resources. By working together, the local government and DENR-CAR aim to build a more coordinated system for monitoring and restoring the local ecosystem to ensure its long-term protection.
