𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗧 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗕𝗠

In a courtesy call to the Department of Budget and Management-Cordillera Director Marie Christine Andaya, Mayor Roderick Awingan finally met with the director in person to touch base on June 29 to get updates and guidance regarding its proposals to the agency. DBM-CAR Supervising Budget and Management Specialist Israel Baguilat also assisted the mayor with his queries.

The DBM, which is responsible for the efficient use of government resources, is reminding the public especially local government units to only transact with verified personnel from the agency. There have been reports of some individuals and groups who are falsely posing as DBM personnel or unlawfully using the names of its officials, acting as middlemen or fixers, to perpetrate scams and fraudulent schemes.
