The Liga ng mga Barangay of Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya recently visited La Trinidad for a benchmarking activity focused on excellence in local justice and social services.

Highlights of the visit included:

  • National Hall of Fame Excellence: The delegation studied Barangay Pico, a National Hall of Famer for the Katarungang Pambarangay, to learn their best practices in community mediation and dispute resolution.

  • Women & Children’s Welfare: Aritao officials explored La Trinidad’s robust programs and activities dedicated to Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC).

Mayor Awingan warmly welcomed the group, expressing his hope for more exchange visits. "Best practices can be shared by one another," he noted, emphasizing that collaboration is key to building stronger municipalities.
