𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠

In a move to strengthen early childhood care, Mayor Roderick Awingan signed Executive Order No. 13-2026, officially launching the Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) Program in the municipality.

The initiative targets all La Trinidad children aged 2-3 years old who are not enrolled in any learning institution that provides early childhood care and development (ECCD) services.

“SNP focuses on art and play, and a more active involvement of parents,” expounded Cristina Anioay, ECCD focal person. “It aims to provide continuous support starting from the pregnancy stage until the child begins daycare.”

Mayor Roderick Awingan underscored that the collaboration with barangay councils, child development workers, barangay health workers, and barangay ECCD committees will be the driving force in the program’s success.

The SNP is a strategy aligned with the ECCD Act (RA 8980) that enhances socialization, learning, and holistic development for young children.

The program is set to begin this coming school year.
