Municipal Mayor Roderick C. Awingan, Chairperson of the Municipal Anti-Illegal Drugs and Peace and Order Council (MAGPTD), presided over the councilโ€™s quarterly meeting, emphasizing the importance of sustained coordination, proactive governance, and unified action in maintaining peace and order in La Trinidad.


Under the Mayorโ€™s leadership, council members reviewed policy updates, assessed priority concerns, and aligned upcoming programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening public safety, law enforcement support, and community-based interventions.


During the session, La Trinidad Chief of Police PLTCOL Zacarias Caloy P. Dausen presented the Municipal Police Stationโ€™s operational accomplishments and provided a situational briefing on current crime trends and continuing prevention strategies.


Mayor Awingan reaffirmed the local governmentโ€™s commitment to collaborative governance, highlighting that peace and order remain foundational to community development, public trust, and overall municipal progress.
