La Trinidad joined Barangay Betag in celebrating its first Betag Tourism Week from May 18-22, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to work hand in hand for the continued improvement of the BSU Strawberry Farm.

As a symbol of this support, the Municipal Government, through Mayor Roderick Awingan, also turned over four solar-powered lights to help enhance the security of strawberry farm stall owners.

The Mayor also expressed hope that proposed projects with Benguet State University, particularly the improvement of toilets and overall cleanliness at the BSU Strawberry Farm, will be addressed at the soonest possible time through cooperation and the spirit of Adoyon or Binnadang.
