Over the weekend, Mayor Roderick Chiok Awingan successfully coordinated the sale of 30 tons of unsold cabbage from the Benguet Agri-Pinoy Trading Center (BAPTC) and backfill trading area. This initiative was organized to directly assist local farmers by finding immediate markets for their surplus produce.

โ€‹The total volume was split equally between two major municipal partners. Through the coordination of PMGen Ronald Lee (Ret.) and Mayor Bong Lee, 15 tons were allocated to Bauang, San Fernando City and San Juan in La Union; while another 15 tons were secured for Rosales, Pangasinan, through cooperation with Mayor William Ceasar. Sincere thanks also go to Ms. Brenda Shagol for her vital role in facilitating the overall purchase and managing the logistics to make this delivery possible.

โ€‹This successful inter-LGU coordination highlights the practical value of regional cooperation in supporting the agricultural sector. The Municipality of La Trinidad extends its appreciation to the leadership of Bauang and Rosales, and to everyone involved, for their prompt support of our local farmers. #LimitlessLaTrinidad
