The Municipal Health Services Office presented eight awards and six special citations during the Stellar Health Achievements Yearly Awards (SHAYAW) 2025 from the Benguet Provincial Office last December 9, during this morning’s weekly flag-raising ceremony.

The awards are as follows:

1. Green Banner Seal of Compliance

2. Vanguard Award for Dengue Prevention

3. Excellence in Mental Health

4. Kilatis Kutis Reporting Excellence Award or Gawad Tagatakda ng Kilatis Kutis

5. Catalyst for Change Award: Eliminating Gender-Based Violence

6. Outstanding Performance in Tobacco Control Program

7. Strategic Health Blueprint Award

8. Beacon of Care: Excellence in Maternal and Child Health Implementation

Special Citations:

1. Outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication and significant contribution toward fostering a culture of health, wellness, and vitality within the community

2. Exemplary implementation and recognition of its dedication, proactive initiatives, and outstanding contributions to promoting awareness, prevention, and care within the community

3. Exemplary performance, dedication, accuracy, and commitment in monitoring and reporting malaria cases to promote effective disease control and community health

4. Exemplary efforts and notable achievements, honoring its commitment to advancing population development and community progress through responsive and impactful programs

5. Exemplary efforts and achievements, in recognition of its commitment to promoting excellent oral health programs and fostering healthier smiles within the community

6. Outstanding commitment and exemplary performance in advancing community prosperity and delivering accessible, high-quality Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) services

Mayor Roderick Awingan, Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan, and the rest of the municipal officials and heads were present to congratulate the MHSO for their unwavering commitment to excellent health services.
