𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱

The Local Government Unit of La Trinidad, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in collaboration with TESDA Benguet, conducted a community-based training on Tile Setting at Puguis National High School from May 13-18, 2026.

In line with the office’s aim to upskill and re-skill employability in the locality, the skills training program equipped them with hands-on experience and practical skills in tile setting. Participants included students from Puguis NHS, representatives from the Barangay LGU of Puguis, and Criminology interns from the University of the Cordilleras.

The participants successfully completed the tiling of three classroom comfort rooms (CRs) and one outdoor bench.

Three (3) participants were commended by the trainer for their outstanding performance and were recommended to undergo assessment for the National Certification II (NC II).

The skills training was conducted upon the request of the Puguis National High School. Committed schools and associations are encouraged to submit their intent for the possible conduct of future skills training programs.
