The first day of the 1st Batch Training on the Implementation of Municipal Ordinances, with Skills Enhancement and Stress Management for Municipal Ordinance Enforcers of the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet was successfully concluded today. The activity was spearheaded by the Office of the Municipal Mayor, underscoring the local government’s commitment to strengthening effective and lawful ordinance enforcement.
Participants actively engaged in discussions on the powers and limitations under the Local Government Code, due process, key municipal ordinances, and proper enforcement procedures. These sessions aimed to enhance legal awareness, professionalism, and consistency in the performance of enforcement duties.
The Municipal Mayor was present during the activity and expressed strong support for the initiative, emphasizing the important role of municipal ordinance enforcers in maintaining public order, ensuring compliance with local laws, and fostering positive community relations.
The training will continue tomorrow with sessions focusing on Customer Relations and Proper Arrest, Search, and Seizure.
Meanwhile, the 2nd Batch of participants is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, marking the continuation and expansion of this capacity-building initiative. The program reflects the Municipality of La Trinidad’s ongoing efforts to promote professionalism, competence, and well-being among its municipal ordinance enforcers.
