Following the site inspection conducted by Mayor Roderick C. Awingan early this morning, the municipality’s traffic management plan has immediately moved into the implementation phase. Installation of new traffic signages began today to address the proposed improvements for our road networks.
This initiative is a collaborative effort led by the Mayor's Office, working in close coordination with the LTMPS (La Trinidad Municipal Police Station), POST (Public Order and Safety Team), TAXU (Traffic and Auxiliary Unit).
Our teams worked throughout the day to secure and install:
✅️"No Loading and Unloading Anytime" signs at identified choke points to prevent traffic congestion.
✅️"No Left Turn" signs at high-risk intersections to improve safety and vehicle flow.
✅️Updated Number Coding Scheme boards at our boundaries to ensure all motorists are clearly informed of local ordinances.
This is just the beginning of our intensified traffic management drive. While the first set of signs is now in place, the installation of the remaining signages is set to be completed in the coming days to ensure full coverage of our major thoroughfares.
We urge all motorists, commuters, and residents to be observant of these new markers starting tomorrow morning. By following these simple rules, we ensure a safer and more organized commute for everyone.
Limitless La Trinidad: Moving forward with discipline and action!
