The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the Mayor’s Office Public Order and Safety Team (POST) have joined forces to enhance the Puguis Communal Forest stage, a vital hub for community programs and local activities. By combining their manpower and technical skills, the teams are currently retrofitting and improving the structure to better serve the public. This collaborative effort underscores the municipal government's commitment to maintaining functional and safe communal spaces where residents can gather for cultural, environmental, and social events.

Continuing this momentum, Mayor Roderick Awingan conducted a site inspection this afternoon alongside Executive Assistant Atty. Delmar Carino, Private Secretary Roger Angel, and MENRO Officer Arthur Pedro. The visit focused on evaluating the ongoing improvement and identifying opportunities for upcoming "natural developments" within the forest.

During the inspection, officials discussed sustainable ways to further develop the area while preserving its ecological integrity, ensuring that the Puguis Communal Forest remains a premier destination for both community engagement and environmental tourism.
