𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀!

A total of 340 kilos of assorted vegetables from the municipal local government unit and the League of Associations at La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post, Inc. made up the vegetable salad that was served to officials and the public during the culminating program of the 8th Highland Vegetable Industry Week on July 17.

Officials of the municipality led by mayor Roderick Awingan and the Sangguniang Bayan led by vice mayor Guiller Galwan along with special guests Henry Bacurnay, representative of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan; Derick Wooden, representative of KM Partylist Cong. Kenneth Tereng; and Solid North Partylist represented by Marlon Reotoc joined the celebration.

This year's theme revolved around: “Educating Consumers, Promoting Highland Vegetables, Empowering Agri-Preneurs” as a celebration and remembrance of the bounty that sustained Benguet's central town through the years and will carry it for the coming years.
