𝗔 𝗪𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

Under the leadership of Mayor Roderick Chiok Awingan, the Municipality of La Trinidad received 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 (𝟰) 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 during the 9th Cordillera Environment Summit with the theme: "𝘉𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪 𝘜𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪: 𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘢 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘌𝘤𝘰-𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦" held on June 30-July 1, 2026 at New Town Plaza Hotel, Baguio City.

These awards recognize Local Government Units that demonstrated 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 in implementing Projects, Programs, and Activities (PPAs) for efficient and effective environmental management.

Mayor Awingan, together with MENRO staff, personally received the following awards:
