Barangay Alapang Multipurpose Cooperative (BALMUCO) has been struggling to meet the townโs rising water demand. To help, LGU La Trinidad provided 330 PET bottles ensuring residents continue to receive reliable source of drinking water.
The turnover and MOA signing ceremony brought together key officials including Orlando B. Pacya, Municipal Cooperative Development Officer, who assured that the LGU will monitor the project to guarantee its long term success. โProper management is key,โ he stressed, noting that any misuse of resources would require the immediate return of funds used to purchase the PET bottles.
EA Atty. Delmar O. Carino, representing the LCE, praised the initiative as a practical and timely community support program. Meanwhile, BALMUCO Chairperson Mario L. Esteban, Manager Felina Mercoles and the cooperative staff expressed their gratitude and pledged to safeguard the project for the benefit of the community.
