Several organizations were recognized for their support and assistance to the municipal government, alongside the presentation of LGU awards, during this morning’s flag-raising ceremony.


1. For extending their services and donating essential supplies to the LGU and affected families during the onslaught of recent typhoons:

  • Aboitiz Renewables and Aboitiz Foundation Incorporated

  • Logan’s Livestock

  • Benguet State University and Community Multipurpose Cooperative (BSUCMPC)

  • McDonald’s La Trinidad

  • Mr. Pares

  • Baguio Tomay Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association- Multipurpose Cooperative (BATJODA MPC)

  • Baguio Family and Friends Lions Club (BFFLC)

  • La Trinidad Arabica Coffee Producers Association (LATACPA)

  • Holland Restaurant

  • A’s Valley Enterprises

  • Integrated Philippine Association of Optometrists-Benguet (IPAO-Benguet) and Benguet Association of Optometrists (BAO)

  • Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Inc., Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation, Baguio Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and Baguio Filipino-Chinese Community Executive Committee

  • Mercury Drug Foundation


2. For securing their sixth consecutive ISO 9001: 2015 recertification, a testament to delivering reliable and sustainable electric service:

  • Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO)


Alongside this, the different offices also presented the LGU’s awards in various fields:


1. 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

  • High Level of Ideal Functionality in the CY 2025 Assessment of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) - This means that the LGU is beyond compliant in prioritizing the welfare of children in the community.

  • High Functionality (garnering a total score of 106%) in the 2024 Functionality Assessment of Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) - The municipal government has intensified efforts in promoting the rights, welfare, and safety of women and children.

  • Ideal Functionality (garnering a total score of 94.50%) in the 2024 Functionality Assessment of Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) and Persons with Disability Focal Person (PWDFP) - The town’s policies and programs for PWDs are fully implemented.

  • High Functional Rating in the CY 2024 Assessment of functionality of the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) - The LGU’s LPMC has exemplary monitoring and evaluation of local projects.


2. 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱

  • Leo Abalos (Traffic Aide) - Awardee (with ₱35,000 cash incentive)

  • Atty. Francis Batnag (Administrative Officer IV) - Nominee

    The Best Employee Award is presented to individuals for their outstanding dedication, exceptional performance, and unwavering commitment to public service.


3. 𝗠𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻

  • Josephine Elena Tyskke Windhorst - For her volunteer services and completion of a three-month internship in the municipal government of La Trinidad.


4. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿

  • Ma. Corazon Mariano - For documenting a crime through photography, which led to the identification of a suspect of theft (with cash incentive)


5. 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆

  • Orlando Pacya - Outstanding Cooperative Development Officer (Municipal Category) - National Level


6. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗕𝗠𝗦) 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀

  • 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Data Festival - 2nd Runner-Up CBMS Gawad Galing Lokal

  • Certificate of Recognition - For the support of the ideals and mission of the Philippine Statistics Authority through the adoption of CBMS in their locality
