The Local Government Unit of La Trinidad, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the Peace and Order Safety Team (POST), conducted an assessment and identification of suitable areas for the installation of signages along Longlong and Lamtang Road, Puguis, earlier today.

The activity forms part of the municipalityโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen solid waste management and promote discipline in waste disposal among residents and motorists using the area.

Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer Arthur Pedro shared that the proposed signages will serve as visual guides and reminders for the general public on the schedule and proper timing of waste disposal at the designated garbage collection points.

He added that clearly visible and well-placed signages are essential in preventing indiscriminate dumping and in encouraging the community to observe proper waste segregation and disposal practices.

The LGU encourages the cooperation of residents in supporting these initiatives to help maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and uphold the quality of life in the municipality.
