A meaningful step forward for tourism stakeholders and sustainable mobility in La Trinidad.

The Municipal Government of La Trinidad and the Benguet Mountain Movers Transport Development Association Incorporated (BMMTDAI) and Highland Transport Services Cooperative (HTSC) formally entered into Memorandum of Agreement strengthening partnership in tourism transport services, visitor assistance, destination promotion, and eco-friendly mobility within the municipality.

Through this collaboration, the two Benguet Electric and Hybrid Taxis will help promote tourism circuits, festivals, and attractions while serving as frontliners and tourism ambassadors for visitors exploring La Trinidad.

The partnership reflects a growing vision where local stakeholders, transport groups, and the community move together in building a more visitor-friendly, innovative, and sustainable tourism industry.

The agreement was signed under the leadership of Mayor Roderick C. Awingan and Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan, and and BMMTDAI President Norbert B. Cayatoc, & HTSC representative Joel Tabingan.
