La Trinidad, Benguet and Rosales, Pangasinan have officially sealed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), marking the beginning of a partnership grounded in shared agricultural strength and community cooperation.

This collaboration opens doors for a government to government trade program, linking Benguet’s highland farmers with Pangasinan’s lowland producers. Under this initiative, fresh mountain-grown crops from La Trinidad can be brought to Rosales’ Farmers’ Market, while locally produced goods from Rosales will also be made available in La Trinidad.

La Trinidad Mayor Roderick Awingan expressed optimism about this growing sisterhood, highlighting its potential to empower farmers and promote sustainable agricultural partnerships. Rosales Mayor William S. Cezar highlighted that said milestone will both benefit the highland and lowland communities.

The meeting reflects La Trinidad’s continued commitment to building strong inter-LGU collaborations and unlocking new opportunities for growth. #LimitlessLaTrinidad!
