Stakeholders of the highland vegetable industry in the municipality gathered together to polish the program of the 8th Highland Vegetable Industry Week set on July 13 to 17 with the theme: "Honoring our farmers, enhancing productivity and building a sustainable vegetable industry."
Mayor Roderick Awingan presided the meeting together with the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist led by Nida Organo, La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post (LTVTP) Market Supervisor Janice Alleg, members of the League of Associations of LTVTP led by President Nora Ganase, Tourism Officer Valred Olsim, Councilor Belmer Elis, the academe represented by Benguet State University, and from the private establishments represented by Elmer Macalingay, operator of the chain of restaurants, Health Restoreant.
