Representatives from the sixteen (16) barangays of La Trinidad participated in the Barangay Consultation for the Updating of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) spearheaded by the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) held at Strawberry Valley Hotel and Restaurant on May 20โ€“21, 2026.

Mayor Roderick C. Awingan continues to support data-driven and participatory governance initiatives aimed at strengthening local development planning and improving public services across the municipality.

The activity featured presentations and workshops on the existing CLUP, 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) results, zoning concerns, data privacy, environmental and climate-related challenges, and proposed priority programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) for the municipality.

Participants also received the comprehensive compilation of the 2024 CBMS data per barangay to support evidence-based planning and decision-making at the local level.

The consultation served as a collaborative platform for barangay officials, technical personnel, and stakeholders to identify key development concerns and contribute recommendations toward the updating of the Municipalityโ€™s Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
