The Department of Labor and Employment-CAR (DOLE-CAR) formally recognized the municipal government of La Trinidad through the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) for its sustained implementation of four major programs in 2025.


Below is a summary of these initiatives:

1. Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) Program

- 842 beneficiaries

- β‚±4,201,891.04 released funding

2. DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP)

- 45 beneficiaries

- β‚±660,109.26 released funding

3. Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES)

- 160 beneficiaries

- β‚±893,600.00 released funding

4. Government Internship Program (GIP)

- 5 beneficiaries

- β‚±207,740.00 released funding


Overall, these interventions benefitted 1,052 clients and released β‚±5,963,340.30 worth of funding.


DOLE-CAR noted that these services have significantly improved household income, provided temporary employment, and promoted economic resilience among workers within the valley.


PESO Manager Elengy Bolidi emphasized that these programs have helped boost the LGU’s own contributions, especially in developing the employability skills of the youth.
