The spirit of Binnadang (community cooperation) is shining bright in La Trinidad as local organizations joined forces for this year’s Yuletide Binnadang Gift-Giving activity.

Mayor Roderick Awingan expressed his heartfelt appreciation to HEDCOR Inc., Tiongsan Supermarket, the Benguet Vegetable Truckers Association, and the Metro Benguet Lions Club for their overwhelming generosity. Facilitated by the Metro Benguet Lions Club, the initiative brought the community together to ensure that the joy of the Christmas season reaches those who need it most.

The distribution focused on several key groups within the municipality to ensure an inclusive holiday celebration. HEDCOR Inc., represented by President Geraldine Ronquillo, sponsored gifts for the La Trinidad Association of the Blind, while Tiongsan Supermarket shared blessings with the inmates at the La Trinidad Municipal and District Jail. Additionally, the Benguet Vegetable Truckers Association led by Rodrigo Lawan provided support to the La Trinidad Association of the Deaf. Through these acts of kindness, the municipality hopes that the true spirit of Christmas, one of compassion and unity, is felt by every citizen.
