Mayor Roderick C. Awingan reaffirmed the LGU’s full support to the efforts of the DENR-led Busol Forest Reservation Inter-Agency Task Force in crafting a comprehensive management and protection plan for the 336-hectare reservation.

During a meeting held in La Trinidad, the Mayor emphasized the need to give particular attention to the municipality’s side of the forest, highlighting that two-thirds of the reservation lie within La Trinidad. He underscored the importance of a focused and contextualized analysis, recognizing that the concerns and conditions in the area differ from those in Baguio City.

The engagement strengthens inter-agency collaboration in ensuring the sustainable management, protection, and conservation of the Busol Forest Reservation.
