𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿

The municipal local government unit turned over to Mrs. Lagyne Gawili a wheelchair for the use of her 34-year old son Guillermo Jr., who is a member of the Betag Association of Differently Abled Persons.

Gawili wrote to the office of Mayor Roderick Awingan on behalf of her son who has a condition that significantly impacts his mobility, making daily activities difficult to perform independently.

“He has bone deformity in his legs, which has resulted in significant challenges like ambulating (inability to walk without assistive devices), performing daily activities, and accessing medical appointments,” Gawili said in her letter.

Staff of the LGU facilitated the transport of the wheelchair to the home of Gawili on July 1.

Witnessing the turnover were MDRRMO Officer Yoshio Labi, Municipal Legal Officer Atty. Victor Singa, and Administrator Atty. Franco Bawang, Jr.
