ACTION PLAN FOR TOURISM

Mayor Roderick Awingan recently met with Department of Tourism-Cordillera Director Jovita Ganongan regarding updates on the tourism concerns of the municipality, especially on the priority tourism areas that need improvement and enhancement. The municipality will be submitting to the agency its initial plans for immediate implementation and for its long-term planning.
The DOT-CAR is currently coordinating with the various local government units in the Cordillera to come up with an action plan for the improvement of priority tourism sites in accordance with the program of its central office.
