𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗦 ₱𝟱.𝟴𝟰𝗠 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗦

A total of 1,032 registered senior citizens of the municipality received cash gifts from the local government of La Trinidad on June 18 and 19 at the municipal gymnasium.

According to data, 901 septuagenarians (aged 70-79) received ₱5,000, while 125 octogenarians (80-89 years old) claimed ₱10,000, and 6 nonagenarians (90-99 years old) were awarded with ₱15,000.

Municipal Administrator Atty. Franco Bawang Jr., representing Mayor Roderick Awingan, spearheaded the ceremonial awarding of certificates to the early birds.

The Offices of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development - Senior Citizens Affairs, Municipal Treasury, and DSWD-CAR ensured the efficient disbursement for a hassle-free client experience.

In an interview, Mayor Awingan remarked that these initiatives celebrate the contributions of the elderly and aim to inspire families to take care of their senior members.

He also urged all qualified clients to register and maximize the town’s social benefit programs.
