𝗟𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

In today’s flag ceremony, May 11, the municipality of La Trinidad, through its Sangguniang Bayan and the Office of the Mayor, formally lauded six athletes for their outstanding performance on the national and international sports stage.

These individuals were honored through official resolutions:

• Islay Erika Asiong Bomogao (Resolution No. 197-2026): Distinguished as “Athlete of the Year” during the 5th Benguet CARES Awards for her prowess in Muay Thai.

• Renden Gongran Oppas (Resolution No. 196-2026): Celebrated for gaining the WBC Australasia Minimumweight boxing title held in Melbourne, Australia, on April 11, 2026.

• Zi Azenor Ngade Bahingawan (Resolution 220-2026): Commended for her dazzling performance and numerous accolades at the Philippine Superstars Open Dance Festival held in Manila from April 15 to 20, 2026.

• Nach Grant, Jethro Zuch, and David Beets Dulay Kim (Resolution No. 222-2026): Recognized for their accumulated success in the field of Judo across national and international tilts from 2023 to present.

Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan, together with the Municipal Councilors, personally conferred the resolutions to the awardees.

These young athletes have accomplished no small feat and have brought immense pride and honor to La Trinidad. Congratulations to our champions and their parents!
