Following the recent assessment and identification of suitable locations for waste management signages, personnel from the Public Order and Safety Team (POST) of the Mayorโ€™s Office, in coordination with the General Services Office (GSO) and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), carried out the installation of designated garbage collection point signages in Barangays Pico and Puguis.

This activity forms part of the Local Government Unit of La Trinidadโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen solid waste management, prevent indiscriminate dumping, and promote discipline in waste disposal among residents and motorists.

The installed signages clearly indicate the designated garbage collection points, collection schedules, and proper disposal guidelines, serving as visible reminders for the public to observe the prescribed time and practice proper waste segregation. Non-compliance may result in penalties, in accordance with existing ordinances.

The Municipal Government enjoins the cooperation of the community in supporting these initiatives to help maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and uphold the quality of life in the municipality.
