BENTENG BIGAS PROGRAM

The Municipality of La Trinidad officially launched the Benteng Bigas Program today in front of the Municipal Hall, providing affordable rice assistance to around 1,500 beneficiaries from various sectors, including senior citizens, solo parents, PWDs, 4Ps members, farmers, jeepney drivers, minimum wage earners, and DepEd personnel.

Spearheaded by the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) led by Municipal Agriculturist Nida Organo, the initiative reflects the LGU’s continuing commitment to food security and helping ease the impact of rising commodity prices on the community.
