BJMP-CAR RECOGNIZES LT AS VALUABLE PARTNER
The Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Trinidad was recognized and honored by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology–Cordillera Administrative Region (BJMP-CAR) during its 35th Anniversary Celebration and Awarding Ceremony held at the Camp John Hay Trade and Cultural Center on August 24, 2026.
The recognition was given in appreciation of the LGU's continued partnership and support in advancing safe, humane, effective jail management and promoting public safety.
The award was personally received on behalf of Mayor Roderick Awingan by his Private Secretary, Roger Angel.
Other local government units, government agencies, academic institutions, and partner stakeholders were also recognized during the celebration, which carried the theme, "Disiplina at Responsibilidad sa Serbisyong may Kredibilidad."
The event was led by BJMP-CAR Regional Director Jail Chief Superintendent Delvic Oreiro.
