BRGY. OFFICIALS, BHWs COMPLETE DATA PRIVACY TRAINING

Seeking to enhance the protection of sensitive personal data, barangay officials and barangay health workers completed a Data Privacy Training held at the Strawberry Valley Hotel and Restaurant on June 22-23.

With Executive Assistant Atty. Delmar Cariño and Data Protection Officer Kevin Cabading as speakers, discussions centered on the core principles, violations and corresponding penalties of the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

MLGOO Ma. Teresa Mangangey underscored the participants’ vital role as community frontliners in safeguarding residents’ information.

Mayor Roderick Awingan commended the initiative and congratulated the participants for their active participation.
