The health workers of La Trinidad together with representatives from the 16 barangays paid a visit to Mayor Roderick C. Awingan to present advocacy t-shirts and provide updates regarding the successful implementation of the Grade 1 Zero Open Defecation Program of LGU La Trinidad.

During the visit, the health workers shared that the municipality received a cash prize amounting to Php 50,000.00 for passing the program. The incentive was used to purchase advocacy t-shirts that will be worn by barangay health workers during their field and community activities.

The initiative highlights the commitment of the municipality and barangay health workers in promoting sanitation, cleanliness, and public health awareness in the community.
