Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager-Designate Elengy S. Bolidi formally turned over to Municipal Mayor Roderick C. Awingan the plaque and token of appreciation from the Department of Labor and Employment โ€“ Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE-CAR).

The recognition was given to the Municipal Government of La Trinidad for its active support to the implementation of the JobStart Philippines Program, a DOLE initiative that helps prepare young people for the world of work through life skills training, career coaching, and access to quality employment opportunities.

The simple turnover was held at the Mayorโ€™s Office, where Mayor Awingan expressed his gratitude to PESO La Trinidad and DOLE-CAR for their strong partnership in promoting youth employment in the municipality.

The Municipal Government of La Trinidad extends its sincere appreciation to DOLE-CAR for including La Trinidad, Benguet among its partner local government units in advancing youth employment and skills development in the Cordillera region. This acknowledgment further encourages the LGU to strengthen its employment facilitation programs and to continue investing in the potential of the youth.

Through the PESO and in close coordination with DOLE-CAR and local employers, the Municipal Government remains committed to creating more opportunities for young people to gain experience, build their confidence, and match their skills with the needs of industry. Promoting decent and meaningful work for the youth forms part of the municipalityโ€™s vision of inclusive and sustainable local development.

The Mayorโ€™s Office reaffirms its commitment to work hand in hand with DOLE-CAR and all stakeholders so that more doors will continue to open for the youth of La Trinidad in the years to come.
