CCDC MILESTONE

The heavy downpour failed to dampen the hype of the Cordillera Career and Development College (CCDC) to bless and inaugurate its P15 million sewage treatment facility this morning, August 8.

Mayor Roderick Awingan lauded the the initiative, saying it would boost the town's waste management efforts. The mayor, together with councilor Nestor Fongwan Jr., congratulated James Malaya, CCDC board of directors chairperson, and Sherry Junette Tagle, college president, for showing the school's commitment to a better environment.

Tagle said the plant will operate with dispatch once the condemnation of the school's current waste will be completed. Awingan was impressed to learn that the facility will use an ozone generator that does not require the use of chemicals.
