CONTINUING UPDATES AND COORDINATION

Mayor Roderick Awingan visited Barangay Bineng this morning to check on the welfare and situation of residents in the community as rains brought by the now weakened Tropical Cyclone Maymay along with the Southwest monsoon rains continue to affect the municipality.

During the visit, the mayor and Barangay Chairman Dixon Wakat held an initial discussion regarding a posible infrastructure development project in the Bodiweng area, which is being considered to improve local access and services.

The Barangay Captain also reported that several areas in Bineng remain without electricity as power service has yet to be fully restored.

There are no recorded landslides or major incidents in the barangay.
