COORDINATION FOR FUND AUGMENTATION FOR ALNO, LAMTANG SCHOOL REHAB
With the ongoing rehabilitation of the landslide area behind the school building at Alno Kadoorie Elementary School and the Alno National High School in barangay Alno, Mayor Roderick Awingan coordinated with DepEd-Cordillera Director Nicolas Capulong on August 14 for further assistance on the ongoing construction efforts in the schools.
The mayor also included the immediate rehabilitation of the Lamtang Elementary School in barangay Puguis, in his verbal request to Capulong.
The director assured that they will be working on augmenting the funding for the immediate rehabilitation of the schools, and called for the coordination between the engineers of DepEd and the municipal LGU.
The municipal LGU will be preparing a letter-request to the DepEd-CAR office for the augmentation of funds for the two heavily-affected schools, which will then be transmitted to the regional office for their action.
