As the fourteen barangays performed their hearts out, Grit of barangay Wangal emerged as champion with a total average of 93.8% during the 2026 Strawberry Festival Battle of the Bands last March 14, held at the municipal gymnasium.

Coming in second is Rose Symphony of barangay Bahong (91.8%), and placing third is Cohortis (90.1%) from barangay Puguis.

Judges Rubie David, Denver Dannang, Elmer Bantasan, Henry Pawid, and Jeremy Braille Leon scored the contenders according to the following criteria:

Musicality and Technical Skill - 45%
Stage Presence - 20%
Creativity - 20%
Adherence to Time Limit - 10%
Audience Impact - 5%

Special Awards were also presented to barangay Wangal as Drum Star Performer and Outstanding Vocalist, while barangay Alapang garnered the Lead Guitar Highlight and Bass Rhythm Exemplar.

No group left empty-handed as all bands received cash prizes.
