DAYCARE PARENT OFFICERS SWORN IN

Mayor Roderick Awingan inducted nearly 300 daycare parent officers across the child development centers in La Trinidad this morning, July 29, at the municipal gymnasium.

Serving as strategic allies, the officers will volunteer alongside Child Development Workers (CDWs).

“Our children deserve a better future,” declared the mayor in his message, underscoring the community’s invaluable role in guiding and protecting the next generation of leaders.

He also recalled yesterday’s incident involving two missing boys from barangay Lubas who were found at the municipal park, where the town’s quick mobilization once again proved its commitment to the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance.

The event continued with the Nutrition Fora, which featured a symposium on the Nutritional Guidelines for Filipinos, Autism Awareness, and Responsible Parenthood, as well as an orientation on the Supplementary Feeding Program.
