The Stories of the Valley Film Festival is hosting a special screening of the award-winning film "Ang Daan Patungong Kalimugtong" on May 8, 2026, at 2:30 PM. The event takes place at the Km. 5 Economic Enterprise Area (Public Market Parking Grounds) in La Trinidad, Benguet, which is the site of the Strawberry Festival Trade Fair.

𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨:

Film: Ang Daan Patungong Kalimugtong (The Road to Kalimugtong), directed by Mes de Guzman.

Plot: The film follows a brother and sister trekking through the mountains of Lubas, La Trinidad, to attend school, only for their routine to be disrupted when the mine where their older brothers work collapses.

>The screening includes a Talkback Session where viewers can engage with the filmmakers or organizers.

Entry: Admission is free for the public.

Festival Schedule (May 4–8, 2026)

This screening is part of the inaugural Stories of the Valley Film Festival (SVFF), which aims to highlight local voices and emerging filmmakers from La Trinidad and Benguet.

Activities include daily free viewings of short films and features by local creatives, which are scheduled leading up to the final special screening.
