Strengthening preventive healthcare at an early age, the La Trinidad Oral Health Program, led by Dr. Augusto Abadilla, conducted a dental outreach activity in four Child Development Centers (CDCs) in Barangay Alapang: Dapiting, Ettong, Camp Dangwa, and Samoyao.

The activity focused on promoting proper oral hygiene among young learners through fluoride application and guided toothbrushing sessions. As part of ensuring sustained impact, parents and guardians also participated in an orientation on the Pitong Gabay sa Tamang Pagsisipilyo, reinforcing the importance of good dental habits at home.

Mayor Roderick C. Awingan expressed his appreciation to the Purokalusugan Team, led by Mila Tereng Pagcial, the Barangay Alapang officials, and the Child Development Workers for their support and coordination. He likewise acknowledged the nursing students from Benguet State University for their valuable assistance in the conduct of the activity.

This initiative reflects the Municipality’s continued commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of children through proactive and community-based programs.
