Strengthening the local spirit of Binnadang (communal unity), the Members Church of God International (MCGI) recently conducted a comprehensive medical, dental, and optical mission at Barangay Lubas. The initiative successfully served over 200 residents from the adjoining barangays of Lubas, Tawang, and Ambiong, providing free check-ups, dental extractions, and prescription glasses to those in need.

La Trinidad Mayor Roderick Awingan, accompanied by Private Secretary Roger Angel, personally attended the event to commend the organization's efforts. Mayor Awingan emphasized that such public-private partnerships are vital to the municipality’s mission of institutionalizing the Binnadang culture, ensuring that healthcare remains accessible to the grassroots level.

The mission received further support from Lubas Punong Barangay Milagros Familan and the Barangay Council, who expressed deep gratitude for the outreach. By addressing the immediate health concerns of the "Valley of Colors" constituents, the event solidified a shared commitment between the LGU and MCGI to foster a more resilient and supportive community through future humanitarian collaborations.
