La Trinidad’s culminating activity of the Women’s Month Celebration ended with a bang with 37 ladies taking their oath as Woman Official For-A-Day (WOFAD) on April 14 at the municipal gymnasium.

Both Mayor Roderick Awingan and Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan praised the group for their courage and strength to represent their barangays and organizations.

After the opening program, the WOFAD proceeded to their offices and the different barangays, gaining a hands-on and interactive experience.

Furthermore, the Sangguniang Bayan WOFAD was able to submit six resolutions:

  1. β€œRequesting the allocation of funds for the Construction of a Cold Chain Facility for Cut Flowers and Vegetables in the Municipality of La Trinidad” (WOFAD Resolution No. 1-2026)

  2. β€œRespectfully Requesting the Implementation of the Annual Summer Camping Project to Strengthen the Spiritual, Mental, and Emotional Well-Being and the Capacity of Identified Individuals Aged 13 to 21 Years Old” (WOFAD Resolution No. 2-2026)

  4. β€œRespectfully Requesting to Support the Expansion of Services for Children with Disabilities (CWDs) and to Ensure that each Barangay Establishes an Organization for Children with Disabilities and Appropriating Funds Therefor” (WOFAD Resolution No. 4-2026)
