FINANCIAL WELLNESS PUSHED TOWARDS ACHIEVING YOUTH LIFE GOALS

To underscore the importance of financial literacy and its impact on achieving personal goals, Ms. Lorena Santiago highlighted financial wellness among the youth in her lecture during the youth capacity-building activity held today, at the Pitaco Cafe.
Santiago, the Internal Audit Section Head of the municipality, emphasized the 50/30/20 rule in managing money.
The principle explains that 50% of income should be spent on needs, 30% on wants, and 20% on savings.
Moreover, Santiago tipped the participants to list their goals and align them with their financial capacity.
The Mayor's Office-Youth Services Section spearheaded the activity, in celebration of the Linggo Ng Kabataan with the theme, "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations."
