Volunteers and multi-sectoral stakeholders united today for the "Zero Dust" Roadside Cleanup Drive along the Baguio Bontoc Road. This community-led effort honors the legacy of Councilor Henry Kipas, who first coined the term to advocate for roads entirely clear of dust and debris. The initiative covered the stretch from the BSU Elementary gate to the DOST-CAR frontage.
Organized by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), the drive mobilized law enforcement, ROTC units, and barangay advocates to ensure cleaner and safer thoroughfares for all.
Expressing his gratitude Mayor Roderick Awingan lauded the collective dedication to environmental stewardship and called for even greater public participation in future drives to keep the spirit of Binnadang alive.
